Feijoa, Nashi and Spinach Smoothie Recipe

Oh Nashi Didn’t!

We’re bringing together the best of Aotearoa in this delicious green smoothie with home-grown nashi pears, feijoas and spinach. Blended with cashews and chia seeds for a hearty dose of plant-based protein and omega-3 fatty acids, and don’t forget the cinnamon for added antioxidants and immunity protection!

 

 

Serves: 2

Preparation Time: 2 minutes

Dairy Free, Vegan, Gluten Free

Ingredients:

2-3 feijoas, flesh only

1 nashi pear

1 banana

1 handful of spinach

2 Tbs cashew nuts

2 Tbs chia seeds

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 cup of liquid (either water, your favourite milk or coconut water)

1 cup of ice

Method:

1. Place feijoas, nashi pear, banana, cashew nuts, chia seeds, cinnamon and ice cubes into a blender

2. Add water, milk or coconut water and blend until smooth

3. Pour into two glasses and enjoy
